Agriculture Diploma or a Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in designing, Installations and preparing quotations. A Highly dynamic and self motivated individual with a good command of English, good communication, report writing and computer skills. A valid riding / driving license is an advantage. Willing to travel outstation.

Marketing Executive :

Team Player with a dynamic and outgoing personality. Minimum of 1 year experience in the field of Sales or Marketing. "Certificate in Marketing" or similar. A good command of English, good PR, communication and computer skills are essential. A valid riding / driving license is an advantage. Willing to travel outstation.

Sales Representative :

Team Player with a dynamic and outgoing personality. "Certificate Level in Marketing / Agricul-ture" will be an advantage. Minimum of 1 year experience in the field of Sales is advantageous. Fluent in at least 2 languages including English. Good PR, communication and reporting skills are essential. A valid riding / driving license is required. Willing to travel outstation.

Technical Assistants :

Males with Credit Pass in Agriculture at Advance Levels or Technical qualification in Agriculture, or a Minimum of 1year experience in designing, Installations and preparing quotations. Knowl-edge in Horticulture / Plumbing / Electrical work. Ability to communicate in at least 2 languages. Possessing a riding license.

Accounts Assistant :

Males with Credit Pass in Accounting at A/Ls and a pass in at least the 1st stage of AAT, CIMA with a Minimum of 1year experience. Knowledge of handling imports documentation and posses-sion of a valid riding license is an advantage. Good communication skills in English and profi-ciency in MS Office is essential. A valid riding license is an advantage.

Are you interested in agriculture? Do you like to help farmers become more productive? If you can, then you can earn an extra income as well.

Citigardens markets micro irrigation products and agricultural tools and technology in Sri Lanka covering all districts since 1999 with a vision of creating 'a cleaner, greener, productive and pleasant environment' in Sri Lanka. We cater to this market with only a limited number of staff. To develop our services to reach most people we need more staff. It is not viable to appoint staff in all districts. Therefore we select youth who are interested in promoting the new technologies in agriculture and train them to become our System promotion Officers (SPO). These SPOs are selected from the agricultural area and from the people who are already associating with the agricultural activities of the people.

Our training is mostly one day program for the people who already know about planting and agriculture. The training includes theory and practical of micro-irrigation system designing and installation. After training get the confidence to advise the System Users on the best practice to maintain the system to increase the productivity. Whenever a system user wanted to expand or repair and maintain the system the SPO will arrange the materials through Citigardens and provide the services to the System User as necessary with deliver installation etc.

We work with SPOs on profit sharing basis. While the SPOs are providing their services to End-users, they see to their need and whenever the End-user of the area need systems and accessories the SPO will assist them to get those needs from Citigardens outlets . On every such sales they get a minimum profit share of 5% and when the value of the order is more they get more according to a scale.

Who is a SPO?

• He / She is a representative of Citigardens working as a freelance in a selected region promoting the company products

What does he/she do?

• • Sustain customer base /customer care

What will he/she get?
