• Eastern Province:
  315 units of Drip systems were provided early this year and distributed to farmers who raise cattle in Trinco , Batti and Ampara districts. Training and demonstration sessions were conducted in each district for farmers to install the Drip system by themselves. This is a project of Department of Animal Production and Health. CO-3 Grass variety to be introduced to a quarter acre plots belongs to these farmers to raise cattle.
• Northern Province:
  200 units of Sprinkler irrigation system for quarter acre plots belong to the local farmers in the Northern districts will come under this project. This is a project of Department of Agriculture. Preparations are underway to implement this project.
• Sri Lanka Army:
  Gun Sprinkler was introduced to irrigate Sugar and maize Plantation in Uva Province. This now appeared to a successful program setting a model irrigation for such plantations.
• Environment- CSR Projects:
  Citigardens is promoting a Tree Planting campaign in various parts of the country to protect the environment. Over 5,000 trees have been planted since last year. The unutilized and underutilized lands belong to the public sector and private sector have been identified for this purpose. Zahira College-Gampola, Zahira college-Colombo, Gafooriya Arabic college-Maharagama, Department of Agriculture-Trincomalee, Municipal Council-Dambulla have been benefitted under this project. Citigardens is looking forward to CSR partnership to continue these projects.
• Environment -CSR Project:
  Baseline Railway Station: The Station Master Mr.Ameer initiated this project. The CGR is using it's machineries to prepare the land around the station to make a landscape and tree planting. Citigardens is invited to help implement this project. Now looking for partnership to invest from CSR budget.
• Environment -CSR Project:
  RAINCO is setting a trend to continue "Environment Day" on the 25 August. The employees were gifted with plants for Chairman's Birth Day which was declared as Environment Day of the company. 1,104 Mango and Jak budded Plants were distributed to staff in 7 factories and in the Head office. Citigardens implemented this projects by organizing the plants from several plant nurseries.
  
  
• School projects:
  Citigardens promote the concept of " From School garden to home-garden and From Home garden to Farm Land" to take modern agric technologies , particularly in the Environment, Protected Agriculture and Micro-irrigation sectors to the urban and rural areas. Teachers are given Training workshops.
• Environment:
  "Green Tech" Fuel Saver . This device can save fuel in vehicles up to 15% in the city run and up to 30% in long trips.
